Safety and Health jobs for industry

Most health and safety issues arise due to lack of training of the workers. If the employee lacks the skill and knowledge about the handling of equipment and other hazardous materials like radioactive samples, he is much prone to the damage that can be caused by them. In this case, it is the prior responsibility of the employer to ensure that his employees are better skilled at what they are doing and if they lack understanding then it is his/her responsibility to first train the workforce and then allow them to properly work at the site along with their personal safety equipment like gloves, over-alls, goggles, safety shoes etc.
Sometimes, due to the slackness of the technicians, defective equipment and machines can cause a great injury to their operatives. In this type of situation a strict environment has to be maintained and a regular analysis of the working machines would help to reduce the injuries caused annually. The workplaces should be constructed while keeping in view the type of jobs that would be carried out inside them. The nuclear plants, especially, require a distinct architectural set-up as to prevent dangerous radiation escaping into other areas of the plant as well as the environment. Such plants also require the employers to design special suits that do not allow dangerous radiations from penetrating inside the worker’s body and to give dosimeters to the employees so that they would have a track of the radiation count in their body and seek doctor’s guidance in case of excessive penetration.
People employed in the tertiary sector are mostly prone to road accidents along with slips, trips or falls that can be caused due to lack of concentration or if no warning symbol is published at the site of possible danger. Mostly workers who work for long hours face sleeping disorders and untimely yawns at the time of working which can disrupt their work and cause a possible injury as in the case of drivers who drive for very long hours with little rest in between. So it is quite significant for the employers to take care of their employee’s holidays and resting periods in order to prevent themselves from facing loss in their business activity due to any damage to the workers that might force them to leave the job. Slithers can be prevented by using warning boards to aware both the workers and customers.
Tasks that involve people to work on greater heights from the ground need special types of supporting equipment and machines that make the job safer and non-injurious for the workers. But a little negligence on the part of employers can cause their workers to face body impairment problems that cause them to lose their jobs and become dependent on others which is disadvantageous for the business as well as the whole economy on a broader point of view. Many “legislative administration” workers like police, mostly face post traumatic stress due to the nature of their job that can cause them to lose their focus in the work and eventually leave them to deteriorating mental health. People engaged in doing sitting-jobs like typists, computer-doctors etc. mostly start to feel back and neck ache aches due to their bad posture.(paul)
